Finding a calling or a purpose in life can vary from person to person. I currently work at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Career Advising & Professional Development (CAPD). Given my previous roles in higher education, non-profits, and for-profits I have experience in higher management, leadership development, program implementation, and interpersonal skill development. My Masters in Organizational Psychology from the University of Hartford provided me a deeper understanding of the world of work, where in addition to candidate selection processes and organizational structure, I focused my studies on emotional intelligence, goal-setting, and motivation. Likewise, I am a Certified Career Services Provider (CCSP) through the National Career Development Association (NCDA), a Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) through CCE Global, a certified MBTI Step 1 and 2 practitioner through the Myers & Briggs Foundation, and a certified LEGO Serious Play Facilitator through Pivotal Play.
